Chinese REALTOR® elected to President without contest.

San Jose, Ca – November 13, 2013 – The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the nationally recognized organization, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, held its annual election on November 12, 2013. The membership was presented a slate of candidates that the chapter’s nominating committee recommended to lead the chapter forward into 2014. The recommendation was uncontested and unanimously, the voting body of delegates moved for the slate of officers to be elected as presented.

“Thank you to all the past presidents and the super team to make 2014 the best year ever” the exuberant newly elected chapter president, Mimi Wang, of Century 21 M&M of Cupertino, Ca., exclaimed. While graciously accepting her position as the newly elected president of the chapter, Mimi goes on to acknowledge her 2014 Leadership Team:

The position of President-Elect went to Laura Welch, colleague at Century 21 M&M. Continuing her role as Secretary, will be Thora Tam, of Decorating Den Interiors, while Steven Diec of Citibank, Home Lending consultant, will be the chapter’s Treasurer

Additionally, Mimi made her first appointment of Matt Nguyen, of Banc Home Loans to be the chapter’s Membership and Marketing Chairperson. His role will be to oversee all membership activities as well as promote and maintain a favorable image of the organization in the eyes of the public. Additionally, Matt’s boss, Marc Yu, has generously pledged to be a corporate sponsor to the chapter!
